Freedom Journey: Man Quits Job To Walk Across America

Posted: Saturday, May 29, 2010 | Posted by Chico Brisbane | Labels: 0 COMMENTS

With good intentions, the "Tea Party" movement emerged on the political scene to challenge washington with legitimate concerns over taxation and soring national debt. However, the initial Tea Party Patriots movement was immediately highjacked by the GOP and used as a new banner to push thier anti Obama agenda.

The mantra quickly shifted from taxation to fear mongering with a manufactured assult on the constution, freedom and liberty at the hands of the Obama administration. Yet as Tea Party candidates hit the campaign trail, it was not surprising that their solutions to "take back the country" would require an editing, if not a full blown assult on the what? - Wait for it! - Are you ready? - That's right! - THE CONSTUTION.

Tea Party supported candidate Rand Paul openly calls for restricting constitutional rights under the 14th amendment to some people while leaving it intact for others. They all seem to have a blueprint for how society should conduct itself and beleive themselves to be the best suited facilitators of knowing whom is entitled to what, and to what extent they are entitled.

Rand Paul: Idolized By Tea Party As Palin With A Penis

Dr. Rand Paul may be a skilled surgeon in the operating room, but on the national political stage he's nothing more then Sarah Palin with a penis. They are both Tea Party heros and when you think about it, just how difficult of a task is it to win these wingnuts over?

It's simple! - Just say the craziest shit you can think of and when you refer to the constitution or the founding fathers, do it in a way that makes it seem as if you were actually there when the fucking thing was written. You'll have thier complete and undivided attention. It's like walking through the dog pound with a pocket full of snausages.  Video after the jump

Marijuana Grower Uses Fake Police Car To Transport more than 1,000 pounds of weed.

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - A marijuana trafficker used a fake, but official looking police vehicle to transport more then a half ton of marijuana. The truck was fully equipped with lights and decals indicating that it belonged to the Webb County Sheriffs Deapartment.

Eventhough the driver was dressed in an official sheriff's uniform, Border Patrol agents noticed that a few details about the vehicle just didn't seem quite right and they pulled the vehicle over. That's when more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana was discovered in the cab of the phoney police vehicle.

Sheriff's Department officials are investigating the case in order to determine who is using the logos and colors of thier patrol unitss. The patrol unit had the logo, an official number and the exact colors used on the police units in Webb County. The driver, his fake police vehicle, and more than a half ton of marijuana was seized and turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

City To License & Tax Pot Growers Due To Budget Deficit of $42 Mil.

From The Associated Press:

OAKLAND, Calif.— Local governments in California and other Western states have tried to clamp down on medical marijuana, but Oakland has taken a different approach.
If you can't beat 'em, tax 'em.

After becoming the first U.S. city to impose a special tax on medical marijuana dispensaries, Oakland soon could become the first to sanction and tax commercial pot growing operations. Selling and growing marijuana remain illegal under federal law.

Two City Council members are preparing legislation, expected to be introduced next month, that would allow at least three industrial-scale growing operations. One of the authors, Councilman Larry Reid, said the proposal is more of an effort to bring in money than an endorsement of legalizing marijuana use _ although the council has unanimously supported that, too.

The city is facing a $42 million budget shortfall. The tax voters approved last summer on the four medical marijuana clubs allowed under Oakland law is expected to contribute $1 million to its coffers in the first year, Reid said. A tax on growers' sales to the clubs could bring in substantially more, he said.

"Looking at the economic analysis, we will generate a considerable amount of additional revenues, and that will certainly help us weather the hard economic times that all urban areas are having to deal with," Reid said.

How much money is at stake isn't clear because the tax rate and the number of facilities the law would allow haven't been decided. A report prepared for AgraMed Inc., one of the companies planning to seek a grower's license, said its proposed 100,000-square-foot-project near the Oakland Coliseum would produce more than $2 million in city taxes each year.

Given their likely locations in empty warehouses in industrial neighborhoods, the marijuana nurseries under consideration would have more in common with factories than rural pot farms.
Dhar Mann, the founder of an Oakland hydroponics equipment store called iGrow, and Derek Peterson, a former stock broker who now sells luxury trailers outfitted for growing pot as a co-founder of GrowOp Enterprises, have hired an architect to draft plans for two warehouses where marijuana would be grown and processed year-round.

Fox News Conspiracy Intended For Obama Hits Closer To Bush / Cheney

Posted: Thursday, May 27, 2010 | Posted by Chico Brisbane | Labels: , , , 0 COMMENTS

There are three catagories people will fall into when it comes to conspiracy theories. The first is denial, the second is emphatic or even violent opposition, and the third is acceptance. Fox News has just floated the possibility of a conspiracy surrounding the oil spill and that it was deliberate. At least that's who the dialog began. SEE VIDEO BELOW:

Fox and Friends guest Dana Parino was the first to suggest that the oil spill was deliberate and Doocy quickly ramped up the rhetoric by introducing the word sabotage into the conversation. They made comparisons between Katrina and the oil spill and that "they" may have intentionally delayed a responce to the crisis and allow the oil to leak intentionally. If you listen closely to the video clip below, there is no other conclusion that can be drawn that the word "they" isn't in reference to BP, but rather the Obama Administration.

They said that "They waited 9 days to respond" and it's clear that they are not talking about BP because BP responded immediately to the explosion, the fire, and the employes that were still missing and unaccounted for. They did all of this without ever offering any motive whatsoever as to how the Obama Administration would benefit from deliberatly allowing the oil to spill unabated. Nevertheless, the conspiracy theory has been created and not just floated, but broadcast on live television.

Now some folks will fall into the first stage and deny that such a thing could possibly be true. The second stage of people will be opposed to such a theory and do everything they can to discredit the messenger. Then there will be the folk in that thrid stage that will accept it without question.

But here is some food for though when it comes to conspiracy theories. Right from the start a theory is nothing but a hypothetical supposition. Look at it this way. In theory, you can't win the lottery if you don't by a ticket. However, with the purchace of just one lottery ticket, your chances of winning are no longer a theory, but a possibility. With each ticket purchased the possibility of winning moves away from being just a possibility and closer to a probibility. Fox News has done a good job floating the concept of a conspiracy theory, but without any facts or evidence, it's just a theory. But if you can identify a potential suspect or suspects that took part in the conspiracy and outline how they will benefit from the outcome of the event, your supposition is no longer just a theory, but a possibility.

So how would the Obama Administration benefit from allowing this oil spill to increace in size or even take palce to begin with. The same could be said about British Petrolium. How would they benefit from deliberately creating the oil spill and allowing to grow larger? - I have yet to come up with a plausable motive that even exist withing the realm of possibility.

Everytime I ask start to make a list of people who could possibly benefit from this oil spill making it into the history books, George Bush and Dick Cheney are at the top of the list. Infact, they're not only at the top of the list, but rather the only names on the list. Go ahead and try to make a list of names of people who would benefit the most from this oil spill becoming a disaster that would make Hurricane Katrina look like nothing more then a bad hair day.

Now combine that fact with the fact that Dick Cheney is the former CEO of Halliburton, which is one of the companies that was contracted on that rig. Combine that with the fact that the explosion and fire errupted within hours of Halliburton performing their contracted task on that very rig. Combine that with the fact that one of the participants in the creation of the conspiracy theory that unfolded live on fox news is the former Press Secretary in the Bush / Cheney administration. Combine that with the fact that Bush and Cheny unquestionably benefit more and more as the oil spill gets bigger and bigger.

That's my theory, anyone got a better one?

Glenn Beck Attacks Two Term, Democratic, Nobel Prize Winning Woodrow Wilson

Posted: | Posted by Chico Brisbane | Labels: , , , 0 COMMENTS

In recent months, Glenn Beck has gone from sitting behind his desk to walking aimlessly around his chalk boards and ranting to his audience in a rapid-fire sequence of kindergarten questions. Is his audience so politically unsophisticated that he has to phrase his comments as if he is talking to a classroom full of school children? - It's condescending to say the least, but apparently necessary for many of his viewers.

He now spends a majority of his hourly show jumping in the wayback machine and traveling back to the 19th. and early 20th. century to resurrect people that have been dead longer then anyone on earth has been alive. Yet somehow, he manages to trace a trail of breadcrumbs as evidence that his progressive conspiracy theories are hundreds of years in the making and that the evil plot is on the verge of fruition.

"The Boy Scouts were used by President Wilson to deliver his message door-to-door." Beck said today on his show.

Well, let's take a look at our 28th. president who Beck claims was so terrible, he was elected to a second term. Whatever history has to say about Wilson, both good and bad has little to do with Beck's desire to discredit his legacy. It has everything to do with Wilson being a two term democratic president who also happens to a Nobel Prize recipient. Barack Obama is already two-for-three with one presidential term and the Nobel Peace Prize already under his belt. That is the motivating factor behind Glenn Beck's attack on Wilson.

The fact of the matter is that Woodrow Wilson was a democrat like many other presidents and therefore it shouldn't be a surprise that along with a political ideology, be it conservative or liberal comes an agenda. The bottom line is that the legacy of a president has little to do with the state of the nation when he took office, but rather the state of the nation as he left office. Ahem! GEORGE W. BUSH (cough)

If Barack Obama is re-elected to a second term, what will that say about Glenn Beck's effectiveness after four years of painting our first minority president as everything from a racist to a Nazi? - It will say that just because you host the most watched political commentary show on tee-vee, it does not mean that everyone is watching because they subscribe to your ideology hook, line, and sinker. While Fox News may be the most watched cable news show, it is most certainly not the most trusted name on tee-vee news. If it were, vice-president Sarah Palin would be handing in her resignation right about now. Isn't that the point were she usually loses interest. You know, when it's not the shiny penny that it once was? - It's either that or the halfway point or when the next best thing comes along. The one thing that it isn't is "Country First" and that's for God Damn sure!

Woodrow Wilson was elected President as a Democrat in 1912. In his first term, Wilson persuaded congress to pass the Federal Reserve Act, The Federal Trade Commission, the Clayton Antitrust Act, and the Federal Farm Loan Act. He was re-elected in 1916 around the campaign slogan "he kept us out of the war", but U.S. neutrality was challenged in early 1917 when the German government proposed to Mexico a military alliance in a war against the U.S., and began unrestricted submarine warfare, sinking without warning every American merchant ship its submarines could find. Wilson in April 1917 asked Congress to declare war.

In 1917, he began the United States' first draft since the US civil war, raised billions in war funding through Liberty Bonds. National woman's suffrage was also achieved under Wilson's presidency. In the late stages of the war, Wilson took personal control of negotiations with Germany, including the armistice. He went to Paris in 1919 to create the League of Nations and shaped the Treaty of Versailles, with special attention on creating new nations out of defunct empires.

Largely for his efforts to form the League, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. In 1919, during the bitter fight with the Republican-controlled Senate over the U.S. joining the League of Nations, Wilson collapsed with a debilitating stroke. He refused to compromise, effectively destroying any chance for ratification. The League of Nations was established anyway, but the United States never joined. A Presbyterian of deep religious faith, he appealed to a gospel of service and infused a profound sense of moralism into Wilsonianism.

These are the facts that Glenn Beck cannot allow to get in the way of the narrative the he wants to create in the minds of his loyalist. It's a Fox News mantra. Never let the facts get in the way of a good story. Was Wilson the most regarded president to hold office, no! - But he wasn't the worst, was he?

Is Sarah Palin Telling Terrorists Where "Real Americans" live?

Posted: | Posted by Chico Brisbane | Labels: , , , 0 COMMENTS

If the goal of terrorist is to kill Americans, may I suggest that they pay special attention to the road map that Sarah Palin has charted for them. It's not the big cities where terrorist will find "Real Americans", it's the small towns like her native Wasilla, Alaska.

And also too, it's the small towns down there in the lower 48 where she campaigned against those anti-American, big city folk. Cities like Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Boston, and Atlanta are full of nothing but Un-America liberals.

According to Palin's rhetoric, al-qaeda would be wasting a perfectly good car bomb in the big cities if "Real Americans" are the target.

Hell, one good Saturday morning pancake breakfast in small town "Real America" could bring out 75% of the cities population to the Piggily-Wiggily parking lot like cattle going to the slaughter house. At least, that's the message that Sarah Palin seems to be un-intentionally communicating.

James O'Keefe Pleads Guilty To Federal Phone Tampering Charge

Posted: | Posted by Chico Brisbane | Labels: , , , 0 COMMENTS

Conservative activist and video hobbiest James O'Keefe and three co-defendants today pleaded guilty to entering federal property belonging to the United States under false pretenses.
The indictment handed down last January outlines how O'Keefe entered Sen. Mary Landrieu's New Orleans office and claimed to be from the telephone company, the Times-Picayune reports.

O'Keefe was sentenced to three years of probation, a fine of $1,500 and 100 hours of community service. The others -- Stan Dai, Joseph Basel, and Robert Flanagan -- got the same fine, two years of probation, and 75 hours of community service.

O'Keefe has said he was merely acting as an investigative journalist trying to document Landrieu's purported lack of responsiveness to her constituents.

Puerto Rican Man Almost Deported To Mexico

Posted: Wednesday, May 26, 2010 | Posted by Chico Brisbane | Labels: , , 1 COMMENTS

This is why Arizona SB 1070 will backfire: Immigration authorities in Berwyn, Illinois arrested Puerto Rican Eduardo Caraballo in a stolen car case, but when his mother posted his bail, he was detained because authorities didn’t believe he was a legal citizen. His mother brought his birth certificate, but Eduardo was unable to answer some questions about the island because he’s lived all his life on the mainland. Eduardo was detained for three more days and threatened with deportation–to Mexico.

I don't have any sympathy for car thieves if the man is guilty of what officials are potentially charging him of, but I don't want to see anyone who is a legal citizen deported to a country they were never a citizen of either. Three days to figure out this man was a United States citizen and that he should be tried in a U.S. criminal court if charges are pressed and not deported even after they got his birth certificate?

Family Research Council: Gay G.I.'s 3 Times More Likely To Rape Hetero G.I.'s

Posted: | Posted by Chico Brisbane | Labels: , , , 0 COMMENTS

The Family Research Council predicts wanton rape of straight soldiers by gay soldiers if Don't Ask, Don't Tell is repealed. According to The FRC, more straight soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines will be fellated in their sleep against their will. Then, commanders afraid of being labeled homophobes will refuse to do anything about it. Eventually, the straight service members will quit out of fear.

WTF? - The FRC had better hope that Peter Sprigg (pictured above) is a true biggot and homophobe and not just another closet-case, public restroom foot-tapping, rentboy.com customer like some of the other "family values conservative" that have turned out to be as gay as an Easter Parade.

I realiaze that "Get in the Hummer" and "Give me a Hummer" sound so closely alike, but there have been far too many heterosexual soldiers who have served in the military, and in combat along side openly gay soldiers and do not see it as a problem with it. In fact, many dishonorably discharged gay soldiers have been supported by fellow soldiers and of course, all to no avail.

On a conference call with reporters today, FRC Senior Fellow for Policy Studies Peter Sprigg delivered the results of what he said was the first-ever study of "homosexual assault" in the military. Joined by several former military officers opposed to allowing gays and lesbians to serve openly in the armed forces, he warned Congress that the DADT repeal language currently under discussion with the agreement of the White House will turn the U.S. military into a terrifying free-rape zone where no heterosexual is safe.

"We are today releasing an analysis of publicly available documents which show that homosexuals in the military are three times more likely to commit sexual assaults than heterosexuals are relative to their numbers," Sprigg said. "We believe this problem would only increase if the current law against homosexuality...were to be repealed."
Sprigg said his "analysis" was military documents tracking sexual assault cases. According to his figures, 8.2% of sexual assaults reported to military authorities in fiscal 2009 were homosexual in nature.

"Yet homosexual activists themselves have admitted that less than 3% of Americans -- 2.8% of men and 1.4% of women -- are homosexual or bi-sexual," Sprigg explained.
"Taken together," he continued, "these figures suggest that homosexuals in the military are about 3x as likely to commit sexual assaults as heterosexuals are."
And the "most common type of homosexual assault" according to Sprigg? "one in which the offender fondles or performs oral sex on a sleeping victim," he said.

Ipso facto:
"If open homosexuality was permitted in the military, these numbers can only increase," Sprigg said. "The number of homosexuals would grow, the threat of discharge for homosexual behavior would be eliminated and protected class status for homosexuals would make victims hesitant to report assaults and make commanders hesitant to punish them for fear of appearing homophobic."

The end result is obvious, according to the men on the call today: recruitment will be tougher and retaining straight servicemembers will be harder too.

On the call, I asked Sprigg to elaborate -- was he really saying that non-consensual same-sex assaults would go unreported if Don't Ask, Don't Tell was repealed?

"In a number of these cases the victim was sleeping or intoxicated," he replied. "Under those circumstances, their memory may be clouded and so the evidence may not be strong enough to stand up in a court-martial and actually prove guilt on a charge of forcible sodomy for example. Nevertheless, something inappropriate may have happened...and the victim will think twice about coming forth."

Retired Col. Dick Black, which in military lingo is reversed to Black Dick, but I digress. Anyway, Col. Black who served in the Pentagon during the creation of DADT in 1993, said that essentially, allowing homosexuals to serve openly would create an environment where straight soldiers wouldn't report attacks for fear of being told they "asked for it."

"We faced this when we started tightening up on rape," Black said. "Women were intimidated about coming forward -- they'd be called sluts or you know they hung out in bars or whatever."
When it comes to homosexual assaults, if the perpetrator is allowed to serve openly, it will be the straight men who find themselves facing embarrassing questions about what they were wearing the night they were attacked, Black said.

"I think we're going to see the opposite direction when it comes to homosexual assaults," he said.

"You've got typically a one-on-one situation and there would be tremendous political pressure placed on the victims to remain silent. It will be very similar to the situation we had with women 50 years ago when they were reluctant to come forward and report rape because they would be mislabeled."

Fox News and Looney Lt. Col. Ralph Peters Blast NYT

Posted: | Posted by Chico Brisbane | Labels: , , , 0 COMMENTS

When the New York Times printed a story saying that General Petraeus has ordered an expansion of covert military operations, Fox News used their whack-job "military analyst" Ralph Peters to blast the New York Times. WATCH VIDEO:

This is the same Lt. Col. Ralph Peters who said that the Taliban could do us a favor by killing captured soldier Bo Bergdahl, if it's comfirmed that he was captured in the process of deserting. Not only did Peters think that the Times piece put the country in danger, he suggested that the editor had done so deliberately.

As usual, Bill O'Reilly said just enough to make it seem that he was challenging Peters. But O'Reilly also repeatedly gave Peters the openings to make the kinds of accusations that anyone whom has ever heard Peters before would surely make.

"So why do they (The New York Times) do it?" Billo asked Peters, in what was obviously a deliberate attempt to provide Peters with an opportunity to go on the attack against the Times. O’Reilly’s lack of a poker face combined with Peters history, it's hard to believe he didn’t know what he was setting up. "Does (Times head) Sulzberger dislike America that much that he wants to hurt American citizens? Or just does he not know any better?"

This is just another typical Fox News spin piece where they ask more questions then providing answers. The task of "answers" is left to thier Fox News Contributors and Analysts like Lt. Col. Peters and Half-term Gov. Sarah Palin.

What's the matter bitch, cat got your tongue? - Stupid bitch, people are dead baby dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
